updates for this week:
Grade 3-8 Wizard of Oz Performance:
Apraxia Awareness Day – May 14th
-Childhood Apraxa of Speech (CAS) is a motor planning disorder. This means that when the brain is trying to tell the muscles to move, there is a communication breakdown. The muscles are not sure what to do without the brain’s direction. It isn’t an issue of muscle weakness or intelligence, it is a neurological difficulty in controlling and coordinating movement.
-Students may bring in $2 to participate in Apraxia Awareness games on May 15th.
Sharing the Planet Animal Summative
