Hello Everyone,

We are so happy that the weather was warmer today!  We are also very excited about creature quest tomorrow.  Please arrive at school on time as we will be having a quick snack before the presentation at 9:30.

Wednesday, May 15th 

Apraxia Awareness Presentation - We had teachers and students from Oakwood Academy talk to the students about Apraxia and they played a game.

Please note: Students who participated in the Apraxia game won treats.  These treats are in your child's agenda and students were instructed not to eat them until parents see them.

Language - Our sight word of the day is: run

Recess/Lunch
Morning Circle - Calendar - Days of the week, Months of the year, today's weather, dress for the weather.
Math - Numeracy counting - Student count and then paste the number of objects on the labelled jar.

 UOI - Sharing the Planet 
This week we are learning all about the animal kingdom (animal classifications). Today we learned about Reptiles!  We discussed the key characteristics of reptiles:
- have scales
- cold-blooded
- live on land and water
different kinds of reptiles:
-Alligators/crocodiles
-lizards
-snakes
-turtles
