Language- We sang along to our jolly phonics songs.  Students completed their writing with phonics exercise books.

Pumpkin Investigation! - The students learned about the life cycle of a pumpkin

We looked at how many lines the pumpkin has, we guessed how many seeds, and we got to touch the 'icky stuff' inside the pumpkin.

Reminder: Tomorrow is Picture Day!! Please dress your child in their full academic uniform.  This includes: white long-sleeve polo shirt, pants or skirt, and blue socks.  Remember to bring your smiles :)

Language- Today we completed our letter C and K letter search! Students used the bingo dabbers to identify the letter C and K in a letter scramble.

Math- Leaf sorting.  We discussed the three different sorting rules we learned yesterday (colour, size, shape).  Today, we sorted the leafs we found on our nature walk yesterday into different piles based on the colour and size of the leaves.

Math- Today we went on a nature walk around the school property to gather leaves.   We found all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colours!  Tomorrow we will be sorting the leaves based on these characteristics.
